Wintry mode

The weather has changed.

The gardens are tucked away for the season, tulip bulbs planted, thermometers are registering below freezing, the winds blow… and staying cozy in a warm house sounds like marvelous plan!

The kitchen is calling my name.

Visions of hearty, rich dishes that warm you through on cold days…. and long evenings to experiment with the simple elements of grain, yeast and water, & watch their transformation into delicious breads.
